Neo-Punk Twins The Garden Share ‘No Destination’ Video

Cali DIY double-act The Garden have shared their video for ‘No Destination’. It’s the very first single to drop from their forthcoming self-produced and recorded (because they’re hardcore about DIY) album, Mirror Might Steal Your Charm, due out 30th March via Epitaph Records.

Wyatt and Fletcher Shears are the 24-year-old twins behind The Garden. If you’re playing catch up then the duo are sometime muses/models for Hedi Slimane, they live in Orange Country and they’re properly bonkers in the best possible way. Their gigs are a cross between a magic show and a Batman movie, featuring the rowdiest pogoing you’ll ever see. Even though Mirror Might Steal Your Charm is their third official album as The Garden, the brothers have actually collectively released 20 albums in their prolific career (Fletcher releases as Puzzle and Wyatt as Enjoy).

Fletcher says that finishing the ‘No Destination’ video was an accomplishment in and of itself, while Wyatt says, “Regardless of your life’s goal, take time to appreciate the journey there and don’t forget how important that is.” Imagine what a Gregg Araki directed music vid would look like and you’re pretty close to The Garden’s general aesthetic vibe. It’s like everyday is Halloween in the world of Wyatt and Fletcher Shears.
