Glasgow DIYers Breakfast Muff Share Their ‘Clam’ Video

Breakfast Muff are basically a supergroup comprised of members of Joanna Gruesome, Spinning Coin and Hairband. Eilidh McMillan, Simone Wilson and Cal Donnelly have made a vid for their track ‘Clam’, and you can check out it out first right here.

‘Clam’ (taken from the album Eurgh!) is short and sweet, clocking in at just one minute 51 seconds. Eilidh McMillan says the song is about, “Someone who lashes out at other people because they are scared of being themselves or being exposed in some way.”

The trio formed back in 2014 and they all switch between bass, drums and guitar because they’re mega talented. Their first album, The Feels, was made in two days. Their second, Rainbow Yawn, was made in three, and the latest offering Eurgh! (out now on Amour Foo) was made in four at The Big Shed Community Centre in the Highlands.

Eurgh! tackles some of the big issues – like the use of feminism to mask violence, bullying, the impossible expectations put on young people by previous generations, labeling and sexuality. They also sing in the best Glasgow accents.
