Premiere: Submerge Yourself in Lylo’s Seductive ‘You Have Your Father’s Eyes’

Glasgow’s Lylo play a seductive fusion of post-punk, dream pop and jazz. The trio spent most of 2016 working on their forthcoming full length album Post Era through El Rancho records and now we’re delivering a first taste of the album via Lylo’s new single ‘You Have Your Father’s Eyes’.

The track was recorded and mixed by Lylo and mastered in New York by Josh Bonati (Iceage, Wild Nothing etc). The band describe the song as “stabby and floaty”, which is a pretty accurate description. It also features some saxophones which is ALWAYS A GOOD THING.

As well as the standard digital release, ‘You Have Your Father’s Eyes’ will be available on limited cassette via El Rancho on 7th April, backed by a remix by Organs of Love and the b-sides ‘Submerge’ and ‘Winner’.

Lylo play these places on these dates:

25 March: The Old Hairdressers, Glasgow (‘Freakender’s Spring Fling’)
5 April: The Waiting Rooms, London (‘Full Time Hobby Presents’ Night – Free Entry)
