Last week we told you we had six (SIX) covers to share for our Spring 2017 issue, and we weren’t lying. You’ve seen the Blondie one – SO NICE – and now here’s the second one…It’s Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander, aka one of the most important pop voices of his generation. Read on please.
On the cusp of releasing his second album with Years & Years, we thought it might be nice to shine (BOOM) a light on one of pop’s most interesting characters, aka Olly Alexander. Shot by Clare Shilland in London, this is The Present:
We got Popjustice’s Peter Robinson to do the interview and all of that will be online very soon. Alexandra Burke makes a cameo and there’s a fairly disgusting story involving a glass jam jar, so maybe set an alarm or something.
We’re not going to beat around the bush and try and keep things mysterious, the other people in the issue are as follows (it’s six covers featuring people we love and respect, no agenda):
We’ll be putting the other covers up this week and then peppering your broadband with the interviews after that.
