Not only have Splashh gone and announced the release of their second album Waiting A Lifetime on April 14th via Cinematic Music Group. Hopping between London and New York, the band recorded the album at the Rare Book Room Studio in Brooklyn with producer Nicolas Vernhes (War on Drugs, Deerhunter, Animal Collective).
Splashh guitarist/synth player Vivian had this to say about the follow up to their debut album Comfort:
When we first went in the studio, we had a different idea of how we wanted the record to sound. We had been sitting with the demos for 3 years, so we had an idea of what we thought the album should sound like. When we went into the studio with Nicolas, we started fresh and tore the songs apart. It was a lot of fun to experiment and take it as far as we could. It was liberating.
The rad mini-doc was shot at the end of 2016 when the boys played London’s Moth Club and is a behind the scenes look at Splashh in action. There’s even a quick cameo from BEAT in the vid!
